Painting Competition on Indus River Dolphin

Theme: Save Indus River Dolphin

The Indus Dolphin lives only in the Indus River in the area between Jinnah and Kotri Barrages. This is unique and also an endangered species. It is our common responsibility to protect this endangered animal.

The purpose of this painting competition is to create awareness about the protection and conservation of this beautiful animal of River Indus among young people of Pakistan. The competition will run from 15 May to 30 June 2015. The organizing Committee invites Children from the age group of 10 to 15 and youth from 16 to 22 to participate in this painting competition.

Entry Rules and Conditions:
 

Children Category: 10 and 15 years and Youth category: 16 to 22 years
 

1) Paintings must be done on A4 OR A3 papers. (11-3/4" x 8-1/4" or 23-2/2 x 16-1/2.)

2) Full name, date of birth, Class, Name of School/College and full home address including phone must be written on the back of the painting.

3) Style of painting is free: crayons, colored pencils, watercolors, etc.

4) Don’t include too many words in the paintings only use short slogan if needed.

5) Only Original hard copies of paintings will be accepted.

Prizes in two age categories:

The 1st Prize: Rs.5,000/- Cash Prize and a Merit Certificate

The 2nd Prize: Rs.3,000/- Cash Prize and a Merit Certificate.

The 3rd Prize: Rs.2,000/- Cash Prize and a Merit Certificate.

Five Consolation Prizes: A Merit Certificate for each winner.
